Lots of change in our life right now!

As I start this blog I am wondering how to fit more of my crafting and card making into such a busy life. Temporary though! My youngest Dr. Freeman! starts her new job tomorrow. After 10 years of grad school I think it is an exciting and maybe a little scary adventure for her!

My other daughter and family are busy trying to get moved to North Carolina as my son-in-law begins his new job, also starting tomorrow. We have the pleasure of babysitting the 2 year only perfect granddaughter for Mom and Dad to make house hunting trip with perfect granddaughter number two. Since they did find a home, submitted and offer and will be in escrow tomorrow-things are going to get really busy! Looks like an end of August closing and the ladies will need to make a move to join Daddy. Again, Mimi will get a chance to assist by flying to NC and keeping those sweet little girls from under foot while the truck is unloaded and house put together.

May be September before I get this blog really up and running! Since I want to customize the banner and look of the blog I may need every minute until September to get it just right.

Happy crafting to all of you!

About JoAnne Freeman

My name is JoAnne Freeman. I am married to my best friend, almost 35 years already! We have three wonderful children and two beautiful grand daughters. I am been sewing since I was five years old, in fact my earliest memory is sitting in my Mom's lap with her hands carefully placed over mine as we sewed a scrap quilt. Sometimes when I am sewing I am struck by how much my hands look like hers. Deja Vu moments. I have been scrapbooking and card making for about 12 years, seriously addicted for about 5 years. I discovered Copic markers about a year ago and have to add this to my other addictions (fabric, digital stamps, ribbon, card stock and scrapbook paper, machine embroidery designs to list a few). I have completed my Copic certification and hope to complete the Intermediate certification in 2012. My excitement with this new blog stems from my delight and enjoyment that I have in following so many of the talented artists that blog out there! I learn everyday, shamelessly watch tutorials and LOVE the outlet that these crafts provide for showcasing the talent out there.
